original geoinstruments files (mag and rad) concatenated then trans(magtrans,radtrans) run over them to increase the field length of the fid field by 1 character and make the record length constant. also in the mags to fix the format of the negative values for diurnal and igrf and make them F10.2 before data load into agp pull off all with use=0 the dfn file describes the final result the same is applied to both area C and area E to make loading simpler. in the original mag data, and also presumably the radiometrics line 11851 has data points flagged as not used fids 7472-21966 are Ok fids 21968-34120 are flagged not used fids 34122-42306 are OK fids 42308-44754 are flagged not used the null removed data were separated into lines and then line 11851 split and the first part made 11850 before the lines were all recombined into newmagC.ldt in lines 12261 and 14182 in the corrected radiometrics there were data used values of 9. These were removed.
