Data for the 2016 HeliTEM survey over Mt Lyell.
Data over the current Mining Lease (July 2024) has been excised.

These are original grid files as supplied by CGG, with ML area excised, and saved as ER Mapper format files.

#1 - channel_names_as_used_in_report_versus_database.xlsx : Notes discrepancies in channel names between the original CGG Geosoft database and their Logistics Report.
#2 - dbase_helitem_v2_(ML_area_excised)_dbase.zip         : Geosoft database containing the HeliTEM data.
#3 - export_from_db_v2_(ML_area_excised).o0               : The template used to export the #2 Geosoft database to the #4 ASCII file.
#4 - export_from_db_v2_(ML_area_excised)_xyz.zip          : The HeliTEM database exported to a text file (Geosoft XYZ format).

Note that #4 is supplied in XYZ format instead of ASEG-GDF format due to the very long data record lengths required.
The ASEG-GDF format exporter appears to truncate DATA records at 8192 characters,
whereas to export all of the database channels to ASCII needs around 18,000 characters per DATA record.
